Article 1 – Bookings
Camping pitches can be booked for any day of the week; there are no fixed arrival or departure days. You book a specific pitch and will be given the pitch number in your confirmation. If you are not entirely satisfied with it, you are always welcome to discuss this with us. We rent out mobile homes on a weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday. During the high season, we require a minimum stay of fourteen nights for a mobile home; during quieter periods, alternative lengths of stay and different arrival days may be arranged by prior arrangement. Please state the number of people in your party when making your booking. If you wish to add people at a later date, our capacity may not allow this. The campsite does not admit young people travelling alone; children are not allocated their own pitch.
Article 2 – Payment
For a camping pitch, you must pay a deposit of €100 plus a €20 booking fee once you have received our confirmation with the invoice; this makes the booking final. You must pay the remaining amount six weeks before arrival; any additional nights must be settled at the end of your stay. If you are booking for the early or late season, you must pay the balance at the end of your stay. For a mobile home, the deposit is 30% of the total rental price. You will receive an invoice for the remaining amount twelve weeks before the start of the rental period; if you book less than three months before your arrival, you will receive an invoice for the total amount.
Article 3 – Changes and Cancellations
If you cancel up to six weeks before arrival, your deposit will be refunded. You may change your booking free of charge up to six weeks before arrival; after that, we charge €10 per change. If you are unable to come due to illness, an accident or another serious incident, and you have already paid the accommodation costs, we will refund the full amount up to 21 days before arrival, minus the deposit and the booking fee. If you leave early, we will not refund any accommodation costs. We therefore recommend that you take out cancellation insurance yourself. The following applies to mobile homes: if you cancel up to twelve weeks before arrival, the deposit will be refunded. For rental accommodation, you can take out cancellation insurance with us for 6 per cent of the total rental sum, payable with the deposit. This entitles you to a refund of the rental sum paid in full or in part in the event of: an accident, illness, hospitalisation or death of the insured person, their partner, descendants or ancestors; serious damage to the insured person’s home (theft, fire or natural disaster) requiring their presence on the day of departure; redundancy on economic grounds of the insured person or their partner; a medically necessary procedure for you, your partner or a child living with you that can only take place during the rental period; divorce proceedings that have been initiated; or serious medical complications during pregnancy. The insurance ceases to be valid as soon as the rental period begins and does not cover circumstances arising during the holiday. We recommend that you take out your own cancellation insurance in all cases.
Article 4 – Arrival and departure
Camping pitches are available from 12:00 o’clock and must be vacated by 11:00 o’clock on the day of departure; you may arrive on any day of the week. Mobile homes are available from 15:00 and must be vacated by 10:00 on the day of departure. On arrival, please report to reception; if reception is closed, please go to the bar. Foreign guests must present proof of identity on arrival, as required by French law.
Article 5 – Early and late season
During the early and late seasons, you are welcome to stay without a booking. If you do wish to book, this is possible for a stay of at least one week; the same terms and conditions apply, except that you pay the balance of your accommodation costs at the end of your stay rather than in advance. During these periods, you can enjoy a fixed low rate with the ACSI Card, ANWB Keycard or ADAC Campingcard.
Article 6 – Setting up and use of the pitch
You must pitch your tent, caravan, motorhome or other equipment on the pitch designated by us. One removable awning is permitted per caravan. Double-axle vehicles are not permitted on the campsite. Do not stretch washing lines between the trees: these pose a hazard in the event of an evacuation. You are not permitted to dig, hammer nails into trees, prune branches, mark out your pitch or erect any structures without our written consent. Damage to vegetation, fences, the ground or facilities shall be borne by the person responsible.
Article 7 – Quiet Hours, Traffic and Visitors
Complete silence must be observed between 23:00 and 07:00; the gate is open from 07:00 to 22:00, and no cars are permitted on the campsite between 22:00 and 07:00. You must drive at walking pace (maximum 10 km per hour) on the site. During the high season, you must park in your own pitch or in the car parks at the entrance. Visitors are welcome, provided the guest receiving them takes responsibility for them: please register them at reception and ensure they park outside the campsite.
Article 8 – Pets
Dogs are welcome. You must keep your dog on a lead at all times on the campsite; do not leave it alone on the pitch, even if it is locked up. You are responsible for your dog and must clear up its faeces; a valid vaccination certificate is compulsory.
Article 9 – Fire and safety
Open fires and barbecues using wood or charcoal are strictly prohibited; please ensure that gas and electrical appliances are kept in good working order. Fire extinguishers are available for everyone’s use; in the event of a fire, please alert the management immediately. A first-aid kit and emergency contact numbers can be found at reception, as can the AED. Do not discard cigarette ends, even if they are extinguished.
Article 10 – Hygiene and waste
Waste water must only be discharged at the designated points; caravans and motorhomes must empty their tanks at the facilities provided for this purpose. Rubbish must be sorted and placed in the appropriate bins. Washing cars on the campsite is not permitted; washing up and laundry must only be done in the designated sinks. Fire hydrants are for firefighting purposes only.
Article 11 – Liability
The campsite is only liable for items left in safekeeping at reception. Take the usual precautions regarding your vehicle and equipment, and report any suspicious persons immediately. Children use the playground under their parents’ supervision. Anyone who seriously breaches the campsite’s rules may be removed from the premises, with the assistance of the police if necessary.
Article 12 – Complaints and disputes
Complaints will only be considered if they are signed and dated, described as precisely as possible, and relate to recent events. If you are unable to reach a resolution with us, you may, within one year of submitting your written complaint (by registered post), refer the matter to the consumer ombudsman CMAP (Centre de Médiation et d’Arbitrage de Paris), via www.cmap.fr, consommation@cmap.fr or by post: 39 avenue F.D. Roosevelt, 75008 Paris.
