The swimming pool with the water play area and sun loungers

Swimming pool and river

The 10-by-20-metre swimming pool is set amongst banana trees and palm trees and is heated in spring and autumn. There is a beach area for the little ones, a water playground with water jets and a jacuzzi. And then there’s the Gardon: 700 metres of river where you can swim, go canoeing, build dams and pan for gold.

Food and drink

On the terrace under the plane trees, our bar-restaurant serves fresh pizzas, grilled dishes, meal-sized salads and homemade desserts. Open every day for lunch and dinner during the high season. You can order bread at reception or via the app; the little shop stocks basic groceries.

Active by day, cosy in the evening

During the day, you can paddle up the Gardon in our canoes, pan for gold in the river or hop on a bike to follow the Voie Verte or a route from our app. In high season, our Dutch-speaking entertainment team is on hand every day. And in the evenings, there’s a great atmosphere on the terrace: in spring, there are music evenings with dancing and singing; in high season, there are regular party nights, often featuring a rock band or karaoke on Wednesdays.

For the children

A mini-disco in the swimming pool, craft activities, a treasure hunt, a lantern parade and water games in the river: no child will get bored here. There’s a playground with climbing frames and a sandpit, a sports pitch, table tennis and table football. And it’s easy to make Dutch friends.

The bright, modern toilet block with showers and washbasins

Sanitary facilities and comfort

Four toilet blocks spread across the campsite, ranging from the large, light-filled main building to two smaller blocks situated amongst the pitches. There is also free Wi-Fi throughout the site, a 6-amp electricity supply at or near every pitch, and water taps located throughout the campsite. Washing machines and a tumble dryer, a freezer for your ice packs, a fridge available for hire on site, and accessible toilet facilities for people with reduced mobility.

Out and about together, by the Gardon

Camping Beau Rivage stretches for 700 metres along the Gardon, near the village of Cardet in the Gard. Our family has been running the campsite since 1996; since 2025, Laura and Willy, the second generation, have been carrying on the tradition. What remains is the warm, personal atmosphere: hospitality, nature, adventure and a friendly atmosphere are at the heart of what we do.

The 132 camping pitches are set on woodland grounds amongst trees and shrubs; for those seeking greater comfort, there are seven fully equipped mobile homes. The site is flat and also suitable for wheelchair users.

In the low season, you can benefit from a fixed low rate with the ACSI Card, ANWB Keycard or ADAC Campingcard.

A wonderful site with very friendly owners. The setting is incredibly beautiful, right by the clear river. Very large pitches with plenty of privacy. In April, it felt like wild camping with a hot shower. We’ll be back.

We’d been here in May – it’s a brilliant campsite – so we came back in August and managed to book the mobile home we wanted. The staff were very attentive and helped us out – thank you to them. The entertainment team…

Beau Rivage is a beautiful campground. 5 of us arrived by bicycles on a rainy evening in mid- April. We found a nice, level site for our tents, clean, neat bathrooms and dishwashing sinks nearby. The showers were the…

This is a shaded campsite by the river where children can have a great time playing. The lovely swimming pool is more for paddling and cooling off; you can’t really swim in it. You’d be hard-pressed to find visitors who…
